The only thing that entered my mind is this: May all God’s people enslaved in the system of man be as desperate to change the direction of their path so they too may make their way home in the glory of the Lord’s truth. This child’s desperation should be a lesson to us all. He was going home! The cost did not get in the way, because he could see nothing else but home in his sight. If we all could be like like this child and let nothing stand in our way of Jesus Christ, then the kingdom of God would probably be on earth in it’s fullness.
Where do you get this stuff?
Thank you,
My daughter, who is now 7, didn’t used to like going to Sunday School so I didn’t make her. A friend of hers wanted to go recently so we went and they had a great time. Kids have good radar. Like in school, it’s not so much the content as it is the interpretation and the delivery.
A pastor once told me perhaps we best consider not so much what we think is bad, but what we think is good.
A New Kind of Christian (McLaren) suggests that perhaps how we interpret the bible says more about us than it does about God.

Man that kid can drive! I don’t think my 16 year old can drive that well!
Too funny! Know exactly how he feels.
My 6 year old doesn’t like Sunday Schools either. I don’t think he’d try to drive our car though.
That is some serious resolve by that little man. You’re such an instigator Frank. =)
That’s pretty strong determination.

This is hilarious……don’t blame the little guy from running….hahahaha!
I think you nailed it Frank!
Gotta be proud. Brings a tear to my eye.
