A Reminder from Paul of Tarsus

“Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part . . . Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out.”

~ Paul in I Thessalonians 5:13-15 (The Message)

    “Blessed are the peacemakers”.

Why not live in the gracious manner that Christ gives to us?

    Thanks for the encouragement.

wow…what I nice way to put it…what if we each made a real effort to really put this into practice…awesome. The world would view Christians so differently if this is what they saw on a regular basis…not perfection…but a genuine care and concern for people, an elevation of others over self, the fruit of the Spirit…

Oh, my longing heart; that’s God’s people functioning at it’s best and isn’t it a wonderful picture indeed. Thank you for sharing from scripture, the hope of what things can be.

How could anyone add a thing to this succinct statement regarding our treatment of one another?

This is the kind of exhortation that I pray earnestly into my “what to do’s” on a busy day with people. I have to because I love people…and sometimes I wanna slap someone ;-)

This is Sooo Important! Sometimes it seems we look for the worst so we can feel “better” , but What so ever is pure, honorable, right, if there is any excellence and anything worth of praise think on these things. We really need to pull one another up. We know that we have passed from death to life because we Love the brethren! Super reminder.

Don’t normally care for The Message, but for a passage like this it is quite good and pointed.
