Many of you who read this blog are preachers and teachers.
I want to encourage you with a discovery I made awhile ago. It’s simple, but impressively effective.
In 2011, I delivered a message that I entitled Epic Jesus: The Christ You Never Knew at a small conference that had approximately 250 people in the room. Those 250 souls heard the message live.
However, I recorded it — as I do all my conference talks. It was then uploaded to my podcast.
To date, that message has been listened to over 22,000 times by people all over the world.
Another example that’s more dramatic.
In 2010, I delivered a message called Living by the Indwelling Life of Christ to a missional organic church made up of about 30 adults at the time.
To date, that message has been heard over 20,000 times from people all over the world.
Consequently, whenever I speak at an event, no matter how small, I typically record it on my digital recorder. It’s then uploaded to my podcast at future time.
In this way, the talk can be heard by many more people who weren’t present at the actual event . . . one of the massive benefits of modern technology.
If you wish to “go and do likewise,” click here to see the digital recorder and podcasting software that I use and recommend.
