It’s fun Friday again, Fun Seekers. And today’s edition is another free promotion.
The subtitle of this post is “Lifting Up the Next Generation.”
Unlike our last shameless promotion, which was available to and for every reader, this particular promotion is age-limited.
Now before some of you reach for the TUMS, I will be having future promotions that will include everyone again, just like last time (that’s your cue to sigh in relief.)
But today, I want to highlight our younger bloggers. (Those of you who are 40+, afford me that right without taking unnecessary offense, okay?)
Alright, here’s how it works.
If you are under the ripe young age of 40 (meaning, you’re in your teens, 20s, or 30s), you get the chance to promote your best blog post today.
Comments will be turned off tomorrow morning, so you get one shot at this.
(Last time, a large number of our subscribers never saw the promotion because they don’t read every post, so they missed out. I hope doesn’t happen today.)
But it gets even better.
Tomorrow morning, the Blog Manager and I will be sifting through each post. And the top 10 we like the best will be featured on this post (the one you’re reading right now).
Note that even if your post isn’t selected to be in the top 10, you’re still getting major promotion because thousands of people read the comments.
One last thing. Each day I see blogs I’ve never before seen. Some of them have really appealing blog themes. But others, well, the content is great, but the blog theme is so poorly designed that it takes away from the whole project.
May I encourage all of you to read #1 of this post and buy the blog theme I recommend? It will not only make a big difference in increasing your traffic, but readers will come back because of the appealing screen candy. Design is paramount when it comes to blogging. Just sayin’.
I can’t wait to see your best blog posts!
Update:
As promised, the Blog Manager selected 10 of the best posts submitted. This decision was extremely difficult. It was so difficult for me that I put the task entirely in the hands of our beloved Blog Manager, as I couldn’t make the call.
So if your blog was selected, you can thank me because this promotion was my idea.
If it wasn’t, you can blame the Blog Manager as it was all her fault.
Two things in closing:
1. When looking at the different blogs, I noticed that very few of you are using the theme I recommended in this post (see point #1). If you want more traffic to your blog and you wish to take your blog up several notches in appearance, I suggest you reconsider adding this new theme.
2. There are many . . . yes many . . . bloggers in their 20s and 30s who I know personally who subscribe to this blog who didn’t post yesterday. And there were others in that age group who I don’t know personally, but I know they subscribe and they didn’t post either.
I assume these peeps were so busy yesterday that they didn’t take time to read the post. Poor souls . . . you missed another free promotion.
Here are the 10 posts the Blog Manager chose to highlight. These aren’t in any order, so the ones she liked the best aren’t necessarily at the top. Be sure to take a look at the others in the comments also. I thought many of those were excellent too. Thanks for particpatin’ and not hatin’.

This post is an illustration of what it can be like for a group of Christians to partake of Christ together in an meeting with no clergy where Christ is Head.
This is by FAR the most popular post I’ve put on the blog, and I’ve received a lot of compliments on this one.

I don’t know if it’s my best post but certainly it is one of my favorites. It’s about who the “weak” and “strong” are in Paul’s letter to the church at Rome.
