Can I add one more to your list of idols in the west? It is health and healthcare. In the UK someone once described the National Health Service as the new national religion. We look to it for healing, for rescue, for consolation. Speaking against the NHS is seen as blasphemy.
Also you mentioned three ways to be as community. The world’s way is by the city, you mentioned the tribal way but there was not a description of the third possibility.
The third is ekklesia life – which is a collective human life via divine life.
It is absolutely, refreshing to hear the truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. This message, essentially, confirms and affirms what the Lord has been revealing to me over the last few years–right down to “the Matrix”.
In short, a year ago I heard the matrix in my spirit, however, I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to watch the movie, or if it was a reference to the womb.
But now I am certain I was supposed to watch the movie, since this is the third time the movie has been mentioned since I first heard it. I believe that it is related to what the Lord has been doing in my life to help me get free from this world system.
I’m shocked no-one has commented on the gospel of the kingdom audio yet… Maybe because – like me – you’ve listened, and feel at a loss to know what to say as the content is so important and spirit-stirring. I’ve listened to it a few times already, and only now will attempt to comment on what I heard.
The gospel of the kingdom being preached is one of the signs of the end of the age. I feel like the Spirit has been putting the kingdom on my mind from a number of sources, and this message is the most explosive yet. I believe Frank’s call to completely sell out to King and Kingdom is “for such a time as this”. It’s probably too long for this comments thread, but I’m very interested why this topic is on Frank’s heart at this time?
Personally, hearing this message feels like God asking me to also make a decision on my next move in my journey with Him – I’ve been at a stalemate for too long.

“I am deeply struck by the 2 kingdoms at war discussion. Becoming a Christian is renouncing the kingdom of this world, it becomes dead to you and you become dead to it. This is profound.
Some of what is striking me I can articulate…some is rattling around deep in my soul like marbles in a washing machine. What I sense being born at a deeper level is the sincere desire out of love to follow Jesus WHEREVER He goes, wherever He leads me.
