Where Will Power Fails
So You Don’t Believe in God Anymore?
You’ve been nothing but an encouragement to me brother! Don’t give it up! The Lord is using this!!
“Will power is the same way. It will carry you through initially, but then it bounces back to where it started.
Will power cannot take you through the long haul to sustain your decisions.”
Amen and Amen brother. I didn’t have time to respond yesterday however, so appropriate for me in this season of life. With out Christ living in me and working His power in and through me, will power would not do the trick right now. No way! I would completely fall apart under the stress.
Praise God, Christ in us far outweighs any heart wrenching situations we might find ourselves in. He is our wisdom, strength and hope in all things.
I am currently struggling with an idol. My willpower isn’t enough. Love the rubberband imagery. Looking forward to the new curriculum, Frank.
