Apparently, some people missed the humor in my last email about Identity Politics and the Kingdom of God. The two samples of hate mail I shared weren’t real. But they breathed the same air as the genuine ones, so I was poking fun at them.
The point I was making in statements like, “is he still torturing small animals?,” is that some people really think that authors who mention their new books *to the readers who voluntarily subscribed to their email lists to read their writings* are on a par with the antichrist.
‘Tis irony.
