Happy New Year!
Greetings from South Carolina. Most of my life, I’ve hated long drives. So I’ve not made one in many years. But by God’s grace, I effortlessly made the 8-hour haul from FL to SC to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
And there were no accidents, thank you Jesus.
My wife teases me that if she were an atheist, she’d be dramatically converted to believe in God because I’ve always been kept safe despite how I drive!
I hope this wasn’t the case for you, but 2019 was the worst year of my life. I lost my best male friend of over 20 years and God thrust me into some first-class adversities.
The good thing is that He has gained massive territory in me as a result. His object in major adversity is always to upgrade us in our transformation and growth. To make us version 2.0 of ourselves.
For this reason, 2020 represents a “reset” for me, a “fresh start” and a “new chapter” in my relationships, my ministry, my business adventures, my spiritual walk, and my life as a whole.
Every year I choose a word that represents the theme for my year.
RESET is my theme for 2020.
I’ve also written out my hopes and dreams for the new year. And have committed to trust God to make them happen instead of trying to interfere and “help Him out” (which is a temptation for every person who has leadership abilities).
You may want to consider the same practice. Write out your ideal year and include your dreams and hopes for 2020. And then lay them before the Lord.
The PROLIFIC course I created shows you exactly how I discovered my mission, set my goals, reset my life for each year, and be amazingly productive and creative.
