Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED blog post, the only blog that’s never jealous when you read other people’s lame blogs.
If you’ve been out in the forest without Wi-Fi for the last week, you haven’t heard the news. My new book – Hang On, Let Go: What to Do When Your Dreams Are Shattered and Life Is Falling Apart – just released.
This is a book for the times. Sadly, scores of Christians are trying to weather a health crisis, a relational crisis, and/or a financial crisis. Hang On, Let Go is a practical field guide for how to survive the worst that life can throw at you, and even thrive through it.
Last week I shared how you can get an exclusive bonus if you order the book by tomorrow — Friday (8/27). If you missed that email, GO HERE to read it. The instructions for the bonus are simple.
Now on to the subject at hand. If you’ve not heard, we resumed the CHRIST IS ALL podcast in April. So far, we have 140 episodes.
The 136th episode is a 44-minute interview that’s been hiding on my hard drive for 10 years. (It was recorded in 2011, a decade ago.)
The interview is unique. And if you love the sound of church organ, well, you’ll especially appreciate it. (The way the hosts use the organ is a trip.)
During the interview, I make a number of brilliant and revolutionary statements that will alter your life and not be soon forgotten. Statements like “Thanks for having me on, I’m honored,” and my favorite, “Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.”
Check it out at The Revolution Will Not Be Televised! (It’s also on Apple Podcasts and every other podcast app – just search CHRIST IS ALL with my name.)
You may also appreciate episode #140: Help When Your World is Crumbling.
Yours in appreciating cool blogs,
fv
P.S. If someone wanted to change your life and zealously forced this blog post on you, you can yield to them and subscribe here. It’s gratis and comes with a dozen Super Fire Hot Wings … the kind you can only eat after you sign a set of release forms. (No lemon suckers please. They won’t understand the humor.)
