Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED blog post, the only blog that isn’t afraid to offend the hyper-religious.
Before I share today’s feature, here’s a joke I heard years ago that captures so much of today’s Christianity.
A business man once created an enterprise selling sardines in a tin can. The man recruited some of his closest friends to be board members.
At the first board meeting, he gave a sample can of the sardines to everyone in the room.
Each person on the board opened up their can and began eating the sardines.
Immediately, the room was full of grunts, scrunched noses, and other visible displays of disgust.
One board member yelled out, “These sardines are reprehensible!”
Echoes of agreement filled the room.
The man who founded the business responded saying,
“These sardines are for sellin’, not eatin!’”
Now on to today’s subject.
After being interviewed for over 20 years, I’ve never once shared what’s closest to my heart.
The exception is in this interview. I believe what you’ll hear will encourage and perhaps challenge you at the same time.

We’ve reached 100 episodes on the Insurgence podcast. Each episode builds on the others, and a different conversation partner joins me for the episodes.
The podcast is on a seasonal break right now, but I hope to resume it in September of this year.
So from now until then, you can catch up.
Just like the recent Spider-Man film, you’ll want to check out all the previous episodes to fully appreciate what’s coming next.

Great interview Frank. The sardine joke is hilarious, and it fits well.

Appreciate the comment.

I’ve found this interview to be extremely encouraging and as helpful as these little screwdriver sets you must use to assemble children’s Christmas toys.
Just yesterday, while enjoying fellowship with another brother in the Lord, He asked how I stay spiritually fed since I’ve taken a path outside of the institutional form of the faith.
I referenced this interview and the other practical handles from your ministry that have been balm and medicine to my spirit.
Oh the riches of our Lord Jesus and how incredible it is to learn Him!
Thanks for sharing your portion of Him!

Appreciate you, bro. Thx. for the comment.
