Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED blog post, the only blog that likes Kit Kats … unless it’s in the presence of four or more people.
The last four weeks have been a whirlwind of traveling and speaking.
That’s why I took a three-week break from writing these UNFILTERED articles.
Next week, I’ll resume addressing the struggles you communicated in our recent survey.
But today is a praise report along with some updates you don’t want to miss.
(1) At the end of July, I spoke six times at the 2022 Deeper Christian Life Conference. You can read testimonials and view photos here.
(2) Shortly after that, I spent three days with the eleven leaders I’ve been working with in The Insurgence Experience Mentoring Mastermind.
Some of them said it was “three days of heaven.”
I agree.
Lots of tears, lots of laughs, lots of camaraderie, building together, and some unforgettable moments with the Lord.

(3) Just two days after that, I flew to Indiana. A Methodist pastor invited me to speak so he hosted a conference for his church.
Before I arrived, the congregation had been reading Insurgence and Hang On, Let Go.
The conference spanned four days and I spoke six times.
The messages I delivered were entitled Reimagining Scripture and Prayer.
The event exceeded my expectations. The talks will be converted into an audio course by the end of the year (God willing).
I’ll notify you when it’s available via the blog and email list.
(4) I continue to write the completely revised and expanded version of The Untold Story of the New Testament Church.
It’s up to 1,400 footnotes currently, all of which support my narrative of what happened in Century One. Do not buy the old version as it’s full of errors and flaws.
The new edition will replace it. I expect it to release several years from now.
(5) My next published book releases in October. All of you who are still subscribed when it comes out will receive 3 special bonuses. (If you aren’t subscribed to the list, do so at the bottom of this blog post. It’s free.)

I deeply appreciate your prayers for me and for the work He’s called me to, some of which is overwhelming.
There’s no question in my mind that He honors and responds to them.
I’m a bit weary from all the traveling and speaking, but I’m grateful to see so many lives changed.
It’s humbling and rewarding at the same time.

A Solution to Your Struggles
Regarding the completely revised and expanded version of “The Untold Story of the New Testament Church”, do those of us who had previously bought the old version “full of errors and flaws” get a significantly discounted replacement price? 🙂
I don’t sell my published books, the publishers handle that. I’ve never seen a publisher do that. But I could ask them, however, I’m not sure how they’d do this. The man power to verify proof of receipt probably would be enormous and they are a small publisher.
But I could give an exclusive bonus to my email list.
Note that the new book isn’t just a revision of the old 2005 version; it’s a COMPLETE re-write. Really, a brand new book. it will just have the same title and objective. Much larger too.
