Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED blog post, the only blog that used to shave. It still does, but it used to too.
I don’t know about you, but there are a number of dreams that beat in my heart.
Bold and sizeable ones. (I’ve shared some of them with you in the past.)
Another year rolls by and the dreams aren’t fulfilled.
But this past October, one of them came to pass.
On Tuesday, we released a new episode of the Christ is All podcast.
It’s called “I’ve Waited Years to Release This Song!”
I wrote the lyrics to the song years ago, but tried in vain to find someone to learn and record it.
For years.
That was true until last month.
An up and coming female artist learned the song and recorded it in studio. She knocked the cover off the ball.
We are featuring it today because I’d like you to hear the story behind the song and listen to the recording of the tune.
Both are included in the episode.
I’d love to hear your reactions after you listen.
It’s also on all other podcast apps.
Just search “Christ is All” and subscribe.

It’s another home run by the people who recorded it.
CORNERSTONE CONTENT
* I continue to completely rewrite, revise, and expand my very old — and deeply flawed – book The Untold Story of the New Testament Church. If you don’t have the old version, DO NOT buy it. Wait until the new version comes out (several years from now). Go here for the details. It will answer your questions about the project. I’ve been working on the revised edition virtually every day since November 2021.
* My Vision for a Ministry Dream Team – this article is to be shared with people who fit the criteria. The criteria appears at the bottom of the article. Be sure to read that part. Read the article here.
* Christian Stuff That’s Not Boring – this page contains all my resources which are for those who know in their bones that there must be more.
P.S. If someone wanted to change your life and zealously forced this blog post on you, you can appease them and subscribe here. It’s gratis and comes with a dozen Super Fire Hot Wings … the kind you can only eat after you sign a set of release forms. (No lemon suckers please. They won’t understand the humor.)

Awesome anthem. Almost like a creed. Definitely a statement of faith

Frank, the song is beautiful. Beautifully sung and just beautiful lyrics. I may have to add this to my list of songs to worship to.
Also, my copy of 48 Laws of Spiritual Power just arrived. I’m eager to read it. I found the sample chapters to be very helpful.

Thx. so much!

Hi Frank,
Great song. My wife and I listened to it this morning. We’re having different thoughts on the interpretation of the following lyrics:
“The fire is dying my lamp is growing dim
The shades of night are falling
Your morning light steals across my spirit now
Your presence never leaves me”
Were these lyrics intended to communicate death/physical life coming to a close and then being ever present with Christ? Or is the meaning spiritual in the sense of the spiritual fire waning/feeling spiritually darkened and then Spirit brining His light back to our awareness?
Or is it up to the listener to take it as they will?
Thank you brother!

No, not physical death. Spiritual dry spell. Then the Lord bubbles over again in the morning. It’s a common experience.

Frank,
Truly a beautiful song that brought the flickering of God’s presence to me, that both delighted me and casted a bit of sadness for the deep presence I have known. I have much been living in that dry place of the following verse.
“The fire is dying my lamp is growing dim
The shades of night are falling
Your morning light steals across my spirit now
Your presence never leaves me”
It has rekindled my hope for coming out of this season.
Thank you,
Linda
