Rethinking Failure

Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED blog post, the only blog that gets annoyed when people say, “Look at this photo, it’s a picture of me when I was younger.” Hey Jethro, every picture of you is when you were younger.

I hope 2023 has started out as you hoped.

Before I get into today’s subject, I’d like to request prayer (something I do on rare occasion).

There are two main requests:

1) Since November 2022, I’ve been working daily on the complete rewrite and expansion of THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

The book is daunting, and I desperately need grace, wisdom, strength, motivation, and insight to complete it.

Right now, it’s up to 1,680 footnotes.

Again, DO NOT buy the old version. As I’ve explained on the blog and on the Christ is All podcast, the old version is outdated. It was composed in a hurry. So it’s poorly written, too concise, and flawed in many ways.

That’s why I’m taking the time to rewrite and expand it.

2) There are a number of dreams related to ministry that I’ve brought before the Lord over the years. My request is that whatever obstacles may be hindering their fulfillment, that they be removed this year.
