Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED blog post, the only blog that used to have a tricycle with 2 wheels so it could only go around in a circle.
I’m relieved!
After almost three years of working on the manuscript almost every day, I will be ready to turn in the revised and expanded version of The Untold Story of the New Testament Church to the publisher next Tuesday, March 19th – the first day of spring.
We are hoping for a 2025 release.
Thanks again to all of you who donated to make it possible for multiple scholars and editors to make the manuscript as accurate as possible.
I’m not sure how many of you use our YouTube channel, but we have every episode of the Insurgence podcast on the channel as well as many episodes from the Christ is All podcast, including recent conference messages, interviews, new songs, and more.
The common custom to boost YouTube views today is to pay for ads. We, however, don’t pay for advertising to promote the channel. For that reason, it’s rather small (just under 9,000 subscribers, a number far lower than this blog subscribership).
However, I recently learned that “liking” a video will increase the reach, allowing more Christians who aren’t familiar with the deeper journey to become aware of it and experience greater transformation.
And it doesn’t cost any of us a red cent.
Consequently, I’d like to ask those of you who regularly use the channel to please begin “liking” all the videos. And if you’re a stranger to the channel, I hope you’ll start diving in.
One person described it as a “treasure trove of deeper life content in a day of shallow Christianity.”
Currently, there are over 280 videos on the channel. New episodes of the Christ is All podcast and the Insurgence podcast drop every Tuesday.
Just go to authorfrankviola.org and it will redirect you to the YT channel (it’s called “the Deeper Journey with Frank Viola”).
If you’re not subscribed, you can do that as well.
Next week, I’ll be sharing an article with you that’s been sitting in the queue for a long time. You don’t want to miss it.
Also, you can always play “catch up” to our over 1,000 articles straight on the website, frankviola.org. They are evergreen and comments are always open.
Finally, for those of you who are aspiring authors and accomplished authors, Sunday March 17th is the last day to get my premium SCRIBE online training. When I first started writing books, I would have given my teeth to get it. Check it out here and you’ll see why.
Until next Thursday,
Your brother,
fv
