PAGAN CHRISTIANITY Debate

Thousands of people are still reading Jon Zens’ unforgettable debate with Ben Witherington on the book Pagan Christianity. You can read the debate here (Zens’ includes Witherington’s arguments in his responses).

Zens brings a slew of historical and biblical information to the table in this discussion and provides some great teaching at the same time.

George Barna and I still receive questions on this book. But virtually all of them have already been answered on this page. So check it out if you or your friends have questions about or objections to the book.

We hope you find it of help.

I too would love to see the Zens/Witherington debate in booklet form.

I read the article on James Robison’s weekly newsletter and found it very helpful. It brought me to your blog and to learn more about you. I’ll have to watch the TV segment online as I missed it.

That section from Eternity really was the one the spoke to me the most. I had read a book highlighting the big points of Charismatic history through the century and finished it feeling quite frustrated and frankly depressed. When I read your book a few months later it truly reflected and explained why I felt like I did. Thank you for all of your books for He has used them in a profound way in my life. I used to wonder why I didn’t fit in well in the institutional setting, but now I see I never really belonged there in the first place. I am grateful for the journey here though, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, and wouldn’t go back through it again for anything either:)

Congrats, Frank. The Lord is really getting the word out using your book. Of all the things James Robinson could have chosen to put up for a devotional — excellent choice. I once heard him speak (LONG ago) in person and was favorably impressed by his heart. Now I am impressed by his reading material!
